17th Annual Meeting of the International Society for
Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery
June 14–17, 2017 | Aachen (Germany)
A walk will take you through the old town - from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages and eventually the present. You will see the classic sights such as the cathedral, the town hall and the Elisenbrunnen, as well as supposedly unobtrusive places which have decisively influenced the development of the city. Listen to the influence of Charles the Great (Charlemagne) and the stories of the devil, learn what the “Klenkes” are about and much more. The famous gingerbread “Aachener Printen” is also a must have!
The walk to the old town gives you the first glimpse of the history and development, the way of life and the typical style of the city. Afterwards, we will have a dinner (menu and drink) at the “Magellan” – and round off the evening in good company.
